There are many people who want to make their living on the internet. It is millions actually and growing each day. It is a great lifestyle with limitless possibilities. The information age and the internet will be an exponentially growing industry for decades to come.

Of course not everyone on the internet takes the long term approach to helping and serving their customers and in some cases it is a sad fact that many people are being taken advantage of.

I listened to what I thought was a very good teleseminar on what it takes to make money on the internet. The interviewer was a very successful Internet marketer who had given up his first career as a medical Doctor to pursue internet marketing.. Although the Doctor had only been into internet marketing for a few years he was already dwarfing his income of that as a medical Doctor.

The fellow being interviewed had been an internet marketer for a little over a year and had already had a lot of success. There are countless stories of people making big money on the net and that alone can be a good thing as well as a bad thing and I’ll touch on that later in this article.

The fellow being interviewed started off the interview by telling of a story about how he had gone to an internet seminar of about 500 people who were there to get into the lucrative how to make money on the internet market.. He had casually mentioned to his friend during the seminar that he would be surprised if even 7 or 8 people would even be in the internet marketing business in a year from that time.

His friend became a bit upset with the comment and didn’t want to believe him but you know the facts don’t lie. Many people want to make the big money they hear about but are just not willing to do what it takes to be successful. And this is where you can get a lot of marketers feeding on others greed.

That greed being that many want all the success and rewards but don’t want to give anything in return for the better lifestyle. When you think about it is the perfect match. The greedy internet marketer meets the greedy internet wanna be and on and on it goes.

So many fall prey to the instant riches story thinking that all they have to do is pay the fee and somehow the riches will be automatically deposited in their account without them doing anything in return.

The interviewee said that his success was from spending the time to get educated about making money on internet marketing. He gave the example about how he had spent 8 hours viewing information and videos on the Google website about opportunities and how-to’s on Google Adsense.

He had been in business for a little over a year doing quite well and had still never talked to anyone else that had taken the time to learn the proper information about how to run a profitable adsense site and yet many had sites. The Doctor who was conducting the interview said the same thing. He spent time each and everyday learning something more about internet marketing.

I see this attitude all the time in all business sectors. They will open up a business and then spend no time or money on training themselves on how to make the business profitable and of better service for the customers. Most new business owners will spend more time and money learning how to Cut Costs on gas or find cheaper widgets for their company than they will learning how to run a profitable company.

Isn’t that just crazy to spend hours or days trying to save money on buying a new truck or piece of equipment and then spend no time at all learning how to be more profitable. If most business owners even spent and hour a week reading articles on this site or other information about their business and then take action on that information they could without any doubt double or triple their net profit.

All the information they need and yet still as many as 95% of all businesses that start up go down the road of slow death, financial hardship and stress. Finally some of them after a few years are so desperate they start looking for the get rich quick solution to there problems and become ripe for the pickings of the suave marketers.

When you think about this it really is a perfect universe because maybe that is exactly what it takes for a business owner like this to wake up and start living consciously and creating a better life and business. If that is what it takes that is fine but it is not necessary and can be hard on a family.

Go out and get good information because it is everywhere. Spend time learning and then take action and instead of spending useless time figuring out how to save a hundred dollars go out and make a ton of money.
