5 Steps To Make You Rich Regardless Of What Business You Own

I don’t understand why there is so many struggles in the making of profit when owning a business. The only thing I can really relate it to is it must be like life lessons. We are on this planet to learn and grow whether it be in life or business.

If we are dishonest in our relationships we pay a price and learn a lesson hopefully. If we are rude or discourteous in life we learn a lesson. If we fail to do what we say we are going to do then we sometimes pay a bigger price in lost trust.

Well I guess it is the same in business. If you are doing well in your personal life it is very likely you will do well in your business life. Treat people good and you will be treated good. What ever you want give it away.

So what I would like to do is give you 5 steps you can start to implement into your business that will create dramatic profit increases right away. Implement all five or start with just one but either way the results will be dramatic. These are strategies we use everyday and don’t for a minute underestimate their power to multiply your financial situation.

5 Steps To Make You Rich

1. Set up a keep in touch system. Have you heard of Joe Girard? He is in The Guinness book of world records for selling cars. How did he do it? By sending thank you cards, birthday cards, Christmas cards and whatever cards so he could keep that personal touch going with all his customers. This method will make your customers remember you and you will have a loyal following. There are also services available on the internet that will pretty well do it all for you if you just supply them the customer names. Technology has made it easier for a system like this to be put in place almost on complete autopilot.

2. Raise your prices. In many cases with business owners by just raising their gross prices by 10% they will bring in a 200% increase in net profit. Stop the struggle right now and read ‘How To Sell At Prices Higher Than Your Competitors’. This will change your life and it is easier than most business owners realize.

3. Have a brag book. Let your customers close your sales for you. Your customers saying how good you are to other customers is 1000 times more powerful than you telling your customer how good you are. Set up a system to get customer testimonials and reap the rewards.

4. Have lead generation systems. Have a system in place that will bring you a steady flow of leads. It can be anything from yellow page ads , classified ads, coupon books etc. but the point is to have a steady flow of leads in place. One of the best ways to generate good leads is by you writing an article and then give the customer an incentive to get more information.

5. Exceed Customer Expectations. Always give your customer something extra and you will blow them away. In my business we go to our customer’s home and give them a thank you basket full of goodies and let them know it is our way of saying thank you for being such a great customer. It obviously doesn’t get done by a lot of other companies because we literally get some customers start to cry because they have never had such good service and caring. Not only do the customers refer us but the goodwill of our company is felt by the employee who delivers the basket making him feel good about working for our company. It is a very powerful win/win.

Now the fact of the matter is that if you do all 5 of these steps your business profits will explode but even just picking 1 will set in motion an unstoppable force leading your business to unparallel success.

Don’t let the fact of having these 5 steps become an overwhelming hindrance to getting started. Start with just one and then when that one step has become a habit and is done automatically move on to the second and so on. Focus on one at a time because ‘What You Focus On Grows’.
