Consciousness level is always going to be a determining factor on how much money you make as a business owner. Your consciousness is your level of awareness and your level of awareness will determine how much money you will make in your business.

There are many examples of how a higher conscious level will bring in more money to your business but let me just give you a few simple examples of how it can work in my industry. I am in the fire and flood restoration industry and we also do painting and carpet cleaning for residential home owners.

The example I see all the time in my industry will be a painter or a carpet cleaner that is working hard and just barely getting by in the financial aspects of his business. He works hard every day, most often long hours and in many cases doesn’t even make enough to still be in business in 5 years.

Why does this happen? Plain and simple they are unconscious and just not aware of the many ways that they could make more money in their businesses. Some of our competition is actually so unconscious that even when you tell them some simple ways to make more money they still won’t believe you.

They will say things to me or my business partner that we don’t understand and that it really is more difficult for them. These competitors would rather stay a victim of circumstance rather than take responsibility for their own lives.

I mean I even get this in my own family. Rather than listening or learning a way to make more money the family member will say that life is easier for me because I have money.  They don’t want to listen to the fact that I started with the same amount of money as them and were raised by the same parents. They much prefer their victim story and lament about how lucky others are.

If they would drop their resistance to a higher awareness just long enough to hear a little bit of knowledge it could drastically change their lives almost over night. Every time you raise your awareness about what you are doing, your life and business can become easier.

I had a friend who is a mother say to me that she was impressed with her daughter’s boyfriend because he had two jobs and works hard. Although there is nothing inherently wrong with working hard it won’t necessarily make you rich. Right action and a higher consciouness level will trump hard work every time.

The boyfriend has two minimum wage jobs and is really doing no more than putting himself on the stupid and broke treadmill of life. If the boyfriend would spend one hour or even a half hour a day learning something new that could raise his conscious level he would be miles ahead by the end of the year.

Specialized knowledge can make you rich in our society and a minimum wage will only keep you broke. Take any subject you want but preferably one you have a passion for and within one year of spending an hour a day you will be an expert in that subject.

It really is that easy but at least 85% of us on the face of this earth are just too unconscious to do anything about their circumstance. Read one book per month on a subject you are passionate about and you life will change guaranteed.

So here are 3 reasons you must raise your consciousness level.

1. You will make more money. Although money is not that important to have it is up there with oxygen. Your life will become easier with more money and you will also be able to better help your family as well as your fellow man. It is all our duty to have more money especially when it is so easy to attain by just raising our consciousness level.

2. You will have better relationships. Better relationships mean better marriages, better child rearing and less violence in our society. It is a win/win for us all.
 
3. You will raise others consciousness level. By being more aware and more conscious we in turn raise the level of awareness of everyone we come in contact with. It is almost like a virus spreading from one person to the next making life a happier journey.

Spread the word and spread the light because when you think about it we are only talking a few minutes a day to make this earth a better place for all. Start to focus on the knowledge that will move your life forward and rid yourself of the worry and fear thoughts that will only attract more of the same old same old to you.
