Budgets Don’t Work
So many so called financial Gurus tell you to get yourself on a budget if you are struggling financially. I haven’t taken an actual statistical count but it is probably better than 99% of these guys dole out the advice that you need a financial budget.
What seems odd to me is that most people by the time they retire need financial assistance to support themselves. This would indicate to me that personal budgets or even household budgets don’t work.
The same type of bad advice is being given in the diet industry as well. More and more diet programs are available with more people on diets and yet we as a nation are getting fatter and fatter. What up with that?
Diets don’t work. Can anyone show me any logical statistics that show diets do work? Of course not because the success rates for diets show the opposite. I think its more than 95% of dieters gain all their weight back plus a few extra pounds within a several years.
Well folks it is the same for budgets. Budgets plain and simple do not work and I will tell you why and what you can do about it. It is always a matter of what we focus our attention on that we will manifest into our lives.
If you’re worried and fearful about your debts and then start to also focus on budgeting you are only going to get more of the same broke life. Focusing on lack will only attract more lack into your life.
You can only cut back expenses so much but who wants to? Yes you could live in a cheaper place, go out less, drive an older car and heck you could even turn the heat down. Think about this. Now you are living in a dump, driving a beater car not going out as much and staying home shivering because the heats too low.
I am exaggerating the circumstances here to make a point. The only place budgeting gets you is more bitter and broke. Yet the financial Gurus keep telling us to budget. I mean budgets help no one. Doesn’t help our economy, our family, our friends or anyone else and yet it is the preferred method to a solid financial future. What a bunch of crap.
Why do we keep buying into this lunacy? Because that is the way we have all been programmed since we were knee high to a grasshopper. Doesn’t mean it is right it just means that is the way most of the unconscious lemmings live their quite and desperate lives.
So if budgets don’t work what is the alternative? Focus on the revenue side of your financial equation. If you’re short on money don’t focus on being a chump. Focus on bringing in more money. There are thousands of ways to make more money.
With the information that is available to each and every one of us there are innumerable ways to make more money. In many cases it doesn’t even require more work it only requires more thinking and taking some action on the focused thoughts.
Go to the library or book stores and pick up any number of books and start to focus your thoughts on how to make more money and have a better life. Heck go and read the book The Dynamic Laws Of Prosperity by Catherine Ponder. If Catherine doesn’t get you fired up probably nothing will.
It is interesting to note at the point of this writing there are 46 people who have reviewed Catherine Ponder’s book and 44 people gave it a 5 star rating. The other two people gave it a one star rating and you can bet they are probably broke.
I know from my own life’s journey that prosperity is a state of mind and has everything to do with what we focus our thoughts on. We are all born rich but through all the lack programming we had growing up we have become out of touch with our true nature.
If you start today to focus your thoughts on how to make more money I can guarantee you within the year you will have a completely new life because “What You Focus On Grows”
