Small Business Marketing, 3 Secrets To Wealth

Monday June 25, 2007 by Bob Burnham

Marketing your small business should be the task you spend most of your time on. Most small business owners spend most of their time on activities that could easily by given to others and very little time on the most important activity which is marketing their small business.

Following are 3 secrets to use to make sure you are spending your time where it will bring the best results for your business.

1. Make sure that what you are doing is not a $25.00 per hour job that can be done by someone else because if you are you will be doomed to a financial life of making only $25.00 per hour.

2. Ask yourself frequently during each day this question. Is what I am doing right now just motion or is it something that is moving me closer to financial independence?

3. You must spend 80% of your working time developing automated marketing systems so that you find success quickly.

Making money in a small business is very simple if you focus on the activities that will produce income and profits. It is always a matter of what you are focusing on because what you are focusing on will bring those results.

If you are focused on doing the low dollar per hour tasks in your business you will stay broke. If you focus on creating and developing marketing systems that will bring in more income and profits you will become rich.

This is not rocket science but so many of us try to complicate it. Focus on areas in your business that will bring you more profit and that is the marketing. Remember, What You Focus On Grows.

    1. This is great advice. Sometimes we are so fixated on doing a good job we forget to think the bigger picture and see if what we are doing is right.

The power of leverage is so important and that’s why point 3 on automation is something more business people should start focusing upon.

      Thanks.
