You Don’t Need An Information Guru

Monday December 11, 2006 by Bob Burnham

I am probably going to get a lot of flack for this article but hey if you’re not ruffling a few feathers you are probably not being heard. There are two types of business owners in the market place:

    1. Business owners who run real day to day, bricks and mortar, employees, trucks etc. businesses.

    2. Business owners who sell information to the first group of business owners who often have had no experience in running a day to day business and brand themselves as Gurus.

Repeats Customers Pay More and Sell More.

Wednesday November 22, 2006 by Bob Burnham

Is it any wonder that 95% of businesses go out of business after 5 years? It isn’t to me because I talk to so many business and they don’t even have a system in place to make sure their customers are repeat customers.

So many businesses run to the next customer like a gold miner blasting for that next vein of gold. Although I agree that every new customer can bring with them exciting new opportunities it could be a fatal mistake. It could be a big mistake because all too many businesses fail to take care of the gold strike they just had.

    Right Action

Wednesday November 22, 2006 by Bob Burnham

Of course the keyword in the title is action and I do believe almost any action is better than no action at all because you will always at least be learning something if you’re taking action. Action will be a result of the thoughts you’re thinking. I mean you won’t be thinking about scratching your head and then scratch your stomach.

Thoughts are the seeds to action. If you choose to take a job at a fast food restaurant in all likelihood you will make minimum wage. If you choose to be a doctor you will likely make an above average income. Think of being a truck driver and you will likely make a mediocre living.
