Write a Book and Become the Expert

Thursday August 30, 2007 by Bob Burnham

One of the easiest and quickest ways to become the expert in your field is to write your own book. It is easier to write a book than most people realize. Not only is it easy, it can bring in more and better paying customers quickly and yet almost no business owners, sales people, consultants or coaches are doing it.

The reason many say they have not written a book is they come up with excuses such as they don’t have the time or that they are perfectionists. Both excuses are just a load of crap expressed by business owners who don’t know how easy it is to write and publish their own book.

Small Business Marketing, How To Double Your Profits

Monday July 23, 2007 by Bob Burnham

Most small business owners don’t focus enough on marketing and struggle to make a profit. Many small business owners put 90% of their time into the day to day operations and only 10% of their time into marketing.

This can be a very costly and even risky mistake to run your business like this. You can delegate most all of the day to day business tasks to employees or subs leaving you with more time to develop a more consistent results producing marketing plan.

Monday June 25, 2007 by Bob Burnham

Marketing your small business should be the task you spend most of your time on. Most small business owners spend most of their time on activities that could easily by given to others and very little time on the most important activity which is marketing their small business.

Following are 3 secrets to use to make sure you are spending your time where it will bring the best results for your business.

    1. Make sure that what you are doing is not a $25.00 per hour job that can be done by someone else because if you are you will be doomed to a financial life of making only $25.00 per hour.

Good Customer Service Discover How To Profit Big From Refunds

Monday February 5, 2007 by Bob Burnham

Good customer service can be achieved from any situation. We just had a situation in our company where there was a miscommunication about whether a carpet should be salvage or replaced in the customer’s home. We are in the fire and flood restoration business and were called by the insurance company to handle a water damage claim for this customer.

Well to make a long story short the insurance agent thought we should have replaced the carpet rather than dry and restore it. It was his opinion that we should also pay to replace the carpet and that the insurance company would not be reimbursing us the $3,000.00 it cost for the new carpet.

    Amazing Business Success Secret

Thursday January 25, 2007 by Bob Burnham

The business success secret you are about to learn is probably the best one you will ever use. It’s powerful, easy to implement, and produces immediate, in-the-moment results. Better yet, I can guarantee less than .01% of your competitors know about it (and if they do, they’re probably not using it).

    Ready?

The secret is “love your customers.”

Yes, it’s true. The secret behind my own success in business, and that of so many people who are at the top of their fields is to send loving thoughts to everyone you interact with. You might be thinking, “Certainly he doesn’t mean everyone.” Oh, yes I do. Even the most disgruntled customers can be converted to adoring fans when you employ this secret genuinely and consistently.
